The soap cakes and buns are produced in three stages. The base is the scrub used to exfoliate the dead skin cells. The middle is the luxury soap and the top layer is the moisturiser. The combination of the three layers leaves the skin feeling clean, smooth and fragrant.
The soap supplied by Scrub Tub is handmade in the UK, is chemical free, only natural ingredients are used in its production. No animal fats are used so it is the ideal soap for vegetarian and vegans.
Scrub Tub started selling soap after many years of suffering with dry skin due to mass produced soap. One of the owners of Scrub Tub suffers with psoriasis and using normal soaps made the skin worse.
Since using our soap the skin redness has gone and the skin looks normal, it has not cured the condition but the symptoms are greatly reduced.
We're proud that our handmade soaps comply with all legislation governing the manufacture of cosmetics in the UK and Europe. Our soap recipes are independently lab tested and certified as safe for use
